To Kill a Mockingbird

      To Kill a Mockingbird is an award-winning novel written by Harper Lee. It was published on July 11, 1960 and won a Pulitzer Prize in 1961. Later in 1962, the film adaptation was made into an Academy Award-winning film. To Kill a Mockingbird stayed famous for many years after and is still read in some high school English classes. The book was so famous that in 2015, Harper Lee wrote a second book, Go Set a Watchman, that takes place 20 years after To Kill a Mockingbird.
